LET’S HIT IT! Drummers & the drum-curious are invited to come together through universal rhythms & global grooves. This popular upbeat class will meet for six Sundays (9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/21, 10/28 – NO class on 10/14) at 11:30am-1:00pm.

Open to ALL levels, you’ll discover how to make your drum sing & your spirit soar! Beginning-beginners are especially encouraged. DRUMMM‘s Founder & “Chief Rhythm Activator” Jeni Swerdlow, MA-ATR is a patient, playful & engaging teacher with over 20 years facilitation experience.

 In this series we will:

  • Learn proper drumming technique & FUNdamentals
  • Explore the connection between rhythms from various cultures
  • Participate in ensemble playing with fun, dynamic arranged compositions
  • Find your own unique “voice” on the drum – and more!

Cost for the series is just $160 before 9/7 (Early Bird – Limited Availability), $180 after 9/7 (Regular Rate). Bring a drum (Djembe or similar) or play one of Jeni’s for an additional $5 per week, or $25 for the whole series.

Please Note:

  • You MUST bring a seat for your bum – the space does NOT provide seating! (It is, however, close to BART and easy street parking).
  • Class will stay open until the 2nd week of the series (9/23) – then registration will close for the remainder of the series.
