Calling all teachers – this workshop is for you! We’ll learn how percussion instruments and rhythms have traveled the globe and can teach us about culture and history. Educators will be energized by percussion activities to share with students and will see how rhythm can build a classroom community. Jeni Swerdlow has been a teaching artist in over 40 Bay Area schools and leads workshops and drum circles across the U.S. Drums and percussion instruments will be provided or you may bring your own.
