- Raquy Danziger’s “Dum” ensemble performs intricate and dazzling compositions comprised of rhythms form Turkey, Egypt, Iran and India as well as funk, samba and hip hop beats.
- You can take Raquy’s Middle Eastern drumming workshop, then keep on drumming at the Drummm Circle – and finally, dance the night away to Dum Rhythm Celebration!

- Get your rhythmical juices flowing! We will nourish the mind-body-spirit as we explore the wild wonderful world of drumming, rhythm & sound as catalysts for connection & healing.
- The first half of the program will include a facilitated, participatory drumming journey, followed by a restorative sound meditation practice in which participants will be invited to get comfy, relax & receive the healing vibrations of the presenters’ nurturing sounds.
- No prior musical experience is necessary. Instruments will be provided or you may bring your own. Prepare to go deep and be deeply satisfied!
- Participants will be invited to recline during the sound meditation. Please wear comfy clothes and bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water, etc. for your comfort during the sound meditation.
- $25 includes use of a drum if needed. Space is limited, ADVANCE REGISTRATION is highly recommended!

- For this special “Greatest Hits” event, we’ll open up the playlist to requests. Any rhythms we’ve played before that you’d like to revisit (and share with the newcomers) – we can do it!
- This is a “Groove N Schmooze” – light refreshments will be served and there will be time to connect with our vibrant community before the holidaze hit. Feel free to bring something to share if your heart desires.
- $30 includes use of a drum, or bring your own. Space is limited, ADVANCE REGISTRATION is strongly encouraged.
