Sunday January 22, 29 & February 5, 2017 – Universal Drumming Class with Jeni Swerdlow – 3-Session “Mini-Series” @ 1:15 – 2:45 p.m., BrasArte, 1901 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley.  Get ready for a rhythm tune-up! Drummers & the drum-curious are invited to come together through universal rhythms & global grooves. Open to all levels & styles, you’ll learn how to make your drum sing & your spirit soar! $85 for all 3 sessions. Space is limited.

Saturday January 28, 2017 – Vallejo Family Drummm Circle @ 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., Artiszen, 337 Georgia St, Vallejo. You asked for it, you got it! This popular, upbeat drum circle is for kids of all ages and their grown-ups. Kids must be accompanied by a participating/supervising adult. Advance: $25 for a family of up to 3. Door: $30 for a family of up to 3 (space permitting). Additional members: $5 child/$10 adult. Bring your own drum or play one of ours at no extra charge.

Sunday March 5, 19, 26, April 2, 2017 – Universal Drumming, 4-part series @ 12-1:30pm, Gamelan Sekar Jaya Studio, 3023 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA. Are you ready to hit something? Join the club! Drummers & the drum-curious are invited to come together through universal rhythms & global grooves. Open to all levels & styles, you’ll learn how to make your drum sing & your spirit soar! Friday March 31, 2017 – Vacaville Spring Renewal Drummm Circle @ 7 – 9pm, The Rising Lotus Yoga Studio, 501 E. Monte Vista Ave, Vacaville, CA. Spring marks a time of new growth, a time to find balance and renewal after the darkness of winter. Join with community and DRUM YOURSELF FREE! If you have a heartbeat then you have rhythm, and facilitator Jeni Swerdlow will lead us in a celebration of life through our own unique rhythms! Have fun finding and expressing yourself in a safe, playful environment. You will leave feeling refreshed, connected and energized. Open to all levels and styles of drumming. No prior musical experience is necessary to participate fully. Beginners are especially encouraged.
