FREE multidisciplinary performing arts Festival (with DRUMMM CIRCLE!) located at the

Stream Trail of Redwood Regional Park, Oakland, California

Sunday October 2, 2011 from 11am to 5pm

Experience participatory art that is in relationship with nature,
and shows the creative process of the artists.

Experience art in nature and delve into the nature of art in 12 Theme Areas featuring music, dance, sculpture, painting, martial arts, poetry, henna tattoo, circus arts, theater, visual arts, storytelling, arts & crafts and kids events.Stroll along the mile-long Stream Trail of Redwood Regional Park and experience more than 120 artists and performers tucked among the meadows, redwoods and oaks in this family, bicycle and dog friendly festival.
DRUMMM’s Jeni Swerdlow and friends will be leading hands-on, interactive Drummm Circle sessions throughout the day. No experience is necessary, everyone is invited to participate. Drums will be provided or you can bring your own. More info is at
Bring a picnic lunch! There will be NO vendors, or items for sale in the park.

While no admission is charged for the festival, we will be charging a fee for parking and taking the shuttle, a required element in this years event.
