Sunday, 10/9 – “2nd Sundays”East Bay Drummm Circle @ 2 – 3:15 p.m., Ashkenaz, 1317 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley. Adults $10-15/Kids $5-10 – Sliding scale. Add $5 if you need to borrow a drum to play. Join DRUMMM founder Jeni Swerdlow, MA-ATR and friends in a joyful celebration of rhythm! Group drumming can be a fun and effective way to reduce stress, connect with oneself and others, live in the moment, and build musical skills. Sunday, 10/16 and 10/23 – Universal Drumming – BERKELEY @ 1 – 2:30 p.m., Back Studio at Ashkenaz Music + Dance Center, 1317 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley CA.  Whether you are new to the drum or ready to take your skills to the next level, this fun, upbeat class will break it down and help you build it back up! Wednesday,  10/19 – DRUMMM OneBEAT Playshop with Jeni Swerdlow, MA-ATR @ 7 – 9 p.m., Niles Elementary School, 37141 2nd St, Fremont. Presented by Music for Minors II. Geared towards music educators – discover how to utilize drum circle facilitation techniques and rhythm games with your students. Free for docents and MFMII class teachers/principals. $15 non-MFMII participants. Email [email protected] to register. 

Saturday, 10/22 – Universal Drumming Playshop hits SEBASTOPOL @ 12 – 2 p.m.The Permaculture Skills Center, 2185 Gravenstein Hwy S, Sebastopol. Drum one, drum all! Drummers and the drum-curious are invited to come together through universal rhythms and global grooves. Open to all levels and styles, Jeni Swerdlow will show you how to make your drum sing and your spirit soar. Bring a drum if you have one, there will be extras on hand. $25-40 sliding scale. BUY TICKETS!

Tuesday 11/8 – FREE! Election Night Drummm Circle with Jeni Swerdlow, MA-ATR & Susan Jette, MT-BC @ 7:30 – 9 p.m., Artiszen Cultural Arts Center, 337 Georgia St, Vallejo. Come out on election night to gather as ONE PEOPLE, spreading LOVE and POSITIVITY through the beat of the drums! Bring a drum or other instrument if you have one, there will be some extras available to play. You’re welcome to bring a snack or beverage to share. No cost to attend – love offerings for the space will graciously be accepted. Donations for the Standing Rock water protectors will also be accepted. 100% of contributions will be donated.

Saturday 11/19 – Vallejo Family Drummm Circle with Mika Scott & Jeni Swerdlow @ 3 – 4 p.m., Artiszen Cultural Arts Center, 337 Georgia St, Vallejo. Sliding scale – Kids $5-10/Adults $10-15. Co-facilitators Mika and Jeni will bring the DRUMS and share the BEATS that will make everyone MOVE and GROOVE! No prior musical experience is necessary – if you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm! Saturday 12/3 – DRUMMM OneBEAT Community Rhythm Celebration @ 1 – 1:45 p.m., Livermore Library. FREE drummm fun for ALL ages! Drums provided for everyone to play. Advance registration not necessary.
